i realized today that besides forearm and eyes..drawing with WACOM is even more hazardous to bladder and kidney,it just makes me hold my piss until i finish one painting..and i get stomach cramps..guess, there is a price to pay for everything now a days.. :D

1st Attempt with WACOM

I have lot to rant against WACOM touch pads..to start with, i really had trouble keeping my hand and eye co-ordination besides being a left hander i have a habit of keeping the paper perpendicular to my head (almost at 90 degrees)when i draw..which is like an insult to an injury.
As a matter of fact , i had been so scared of WACOM that even though i had one installed on my system for past one year, this is the first time i have actually used it. My forearms feel sore and eyes hurt but i figured one thing out at the end of the exercise..its was a mental block for me that was restraining me from using it other than anything else..now when i look at the image..i feel content and elated, i think its all a matter of getting used to things and then they become a part of you..like insticts.
So the next thing that i intend to do is to get really used to WACOM, lets see how it turns out.

Sam is .. A 7 ft X 4 ft (28 square feet) dude, extremely imaginative, loves to draw and believes that a pencil and a sketch book are not stationary but are actually an extension to his body..he loves to think and imagine and doesnt speaks much, an absolute animal lover, he loves animal so much that he likes to Christian the chicken on chicken pizza before he eats it..loves watching animation films,riding pillion with friends and riding himself whenever dads not looking, loves drinking beer and philosophy, drawing and animals and drawing animals

"ME" is 4ft X 1ft (4 square feet) dude, friend of Sam,speaks a lot thinks little, always trying to score with ladies (he thinks he is a Casanova)believes he can not be part of any comic script cause he is too good to be a sidekick and too bad to be a super hero, he loves booze, more booze,a little more booze,a lot more booze.. loves to throw up in his friends home, and piss on road side.. has a steady girlfriend and lives out of her purse..a true scum of the highest order, is awfully scared of heights so much so that he decided against growing taller after he became 4 ft.

Preston and Blair are two German Shepard's that Sam has, Sam has them since he was 5..and when he got them Sam thought them to be a horse and wanted to ride them to the school..Preston and Blair loves to Sleep,Watch Television and Hate "ME".

The mother of all Tamil films..if you thought there is any such thing called "Masala Films" you have not seen Captain Prabhakarna as yet..where masala films ends, thats where "Captain Prabhakarn" starts..here is the script of the film is a nut shell

Blast from the Past : An ode to Ray and Jatayu

For Chandan & Deepa
if it wasnt for there continuous persistance ,that pushed me into a corner and then i finally gave in and watched an old Bengali film with them cause they really wanted me to, and the weekend that started off as just another weekend banter over a few bottles of beer turned into a life defining (a bit exaggerated) moment for me..eversince that day i have realised and understood how a clever and simple story contributes in making a good film and how thinking outside the box can do what millions of dollars cant..and that is.. make you cherish a film.

So here is to Stayajit Ray ,one of the most profound storyteller of our times and here is to Prodosh Mitter,Lal Mohan Ganguly ,Topshe ,Siddhu kaka and Haripada and Srinath..few people who still keep the child alive in me as i refuse to grow up.
